Ab Granites

Ab Granites is tucked away in Jayanagar, specifically over in the 8th Block. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of houses and people walking their dogs. We have our little spot where we keep the granite pieces. It’s not a huge warehouse, just a practical space for what we need. Dealing with stones in a place like Bangalore can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes. The traffic on the roads outside gets pretty thick, so getting the delivery trucks in and out takes a bit of planning. Most of the day, we are just measuring things out or talking to people who walk in from the street. They usually want to see how the patterns look in the sunlight. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show them what’s on the floor and tell them the price. The 8th Block is a nice part of town, and we’ve been here long enough that people recognize us. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with offcuts and samples, but we try to keep it organized enough to find things. It’s mostly just two or three of us here at a time. We drink a lot of tea and wait for the next customer. It’s a steady job, nothing too exciting, but it keeps us busy. We just focus on the slabs and getting through the day without too much trouble. It's just us here.
