The shop is located at 61/1 in the Badhrappa Complex on Magadi Main Road. A V N Mosaic Tiles & Inter Lock has a lot of heavy stock, so we are always moving things around. Magadi Road is a tough place for traffic, especially with the trucks coming through, but it’s where we are. The Badhrappa Complex is a bit older, and our space is filled with stacks of tiles and interlocking blocks. It is not the kind of place where you want to wear clean shoes. We spend a lot of time outside or in the storage area checking the bricks and tiles. Sometimes the edges get chipped and we have to sort through them. Customers come in looking for specific patterns or just something for their driveway. We don't have a big sales pitch; we just show them what is available in the yard. It’s a lot of counting and loading. The sun can get really hot on the main road, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the day. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we aren't all related. We’ve got a routine of checking the orders and making sure the loaders know where they are going. It’s a basic operation that works for the neighborhood and the contractors nearby. The Badhrappa Complex has its quirks, but it's home for us. We just keep our heads down and keep the orders moving out.
