A M Granites

A M Granites is located right on the Hesargatta Main Road, specifically at number 131. It’s a busy stretch of road since it connects to the Tumkur Main Road, and we’re right opposite the E S I Hospital. Because we deal with granites, the place is always a little dusty and noisy. You can hear the heavy trucks rumbling by all day long. We have slabs of stone leaned up against the walls and stacked in the yard. It’s heavy, physical work, so there’s always someone moving things around or cleaning off the grit. The office part is just a small corner where we keep the books and take phone calls. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We’re usually in boots and rough clothes because of the nature of the stone material. People coming to the hospital sometimes get turned around and end up in our yard asking for directions. We’ve been here for a while, so we know the local area like the back of our hand. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoons, so we keep the shades down to stay cool. It’s a very practical environment. There’s no marketing team or anything like that here. It’s just us, the stones, and the constant traffic from the main road. We do our work, talk to the drivers, and keep things moving every day until the sun goes down.
