Our place is located out at Plot No. 105k in the I. A. D. B. Industrial Area over in Bommasandra. We are specifically on the Jigani Link Road in the Anekaltaluk area. If you have ever been down this road, you know it is full of dust and heavy trucks carrying all sorts of things. We deal with marble and granite, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and the sound of stone being moved around. The yard is usually filled with big slabs of rock that come in from different places. It gets pretty loud when the machines are running, but that is just how an industrial area works. We spend a lot of time checking the slabs for cracks or weird patterns that might not look right. The office is just a small room where we keep our records and try to stay out of the sun for a bit. It is a long commute for some of us, but we have been here long enough that the Jigani Link Road feels like a second home. We handle a lot of different stones every day, some heavy and some even heavier. There is no point in trying to keep the floor clean because the stone dust gets into everything no matter what you do. We just focus on getting the slabs loaded and making sure the trucks can get in and out of the plot without getting stuck in the mud.
