Our office is over in Rajarajeshwarinagar, specifically at 164, 10th Cross in the Ideal Homes Layout. It’s a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city, but RR Nagar has its own charm. We are on the 5th Main road. The area is much quieter than places like Koramangala or Indiranagar, which we actually prefer for the kind of work we do. Since we are into agri-biotech, we spend a lot of time thinking about seeds and how things grow. The building itself is a standard residential-style setup that we’ve converted for our needs. We have a few rooms set up for different tasks. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, which happens quite a bit in Bangalore, but we manage to get things back on track. There are some nice trees around the layout that make the walk from the bus stop pleasant. We started this because we had an interest in the agricultural side of things in South Asia. It is not always easy dealing with all the regulations and the logistics, but we keep at it. The staff usually brings lunch from home, and we eat together in the small break area. We don't have any shiny glass walls or corporate art. It’s just a place where we work on biotech solutions for farming. People usually call us before coming over to make sure someone is in to open the gate for them. It is a very normal, everyday sort of workplace.
