We are based out of Byrakuru Village. The address is #11/1 in Permumakanahalli. It is a bit of a mouthful to say if you are not from around here. Mulabagilu is the nearest big town where we get most of our supplies. We handle agro food products, which is just a way of saying we deal with what we grow in the fields. Mostly we try to process things so they do not go to waste. The building we use is simple. We do not have a lobby or a receptionist at the front. Usually, someone is just out back working with the machinery or checking the wooden crates. It gets very dusty in the summer months. We started this because the raw crops were not bringing in enough money for the families. Adding a bit of value seemed like a smart move at the time. We do not have a big corporate plan written down. We just look at what is in the field and decide what to make that week. Sometimes it is pickles, sometimes it is dried goods. It depends on the season and the harvest. Our team is just local people from the village. We walk to work most mornings. We do not have a company car or anything fancy. If the power goes out, we just sit and wait or do the hand-sorting. It is honest work. We do not use big words to describe it. We just make food products.
