Our office is over in T Block of the Bhavani HBCS area in Kathriguppe. If you’re looking for us, we’re at No. 57. Being in Bangalore, you might not think about fisheries right away, but we’ve been operating here for a while now. We handle a lot of the logistics and supply for fish coming into this part of the city. It’s a lot of coordinating with different people to make sure everything stays fresh and arrives when it’s supposed to. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep things organized and not cause too much of a stir. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking through our inventory. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit; it’s more about being practical and getting things moved. We’ve got a small team here and everyone knows their role. Sometimes the Bengaluru traffic makes the deliveries a bit late, which can be frustrating when you’re dealing with fresh fish, but we do what we can to stay on schedule. We like the Kathriguppe area because it’s where we’ve set down our roots. Our building is just a regular spot where we handle the business side of things. It isn't anything flashy, just a place for us to work and make sure our fisheries operation keeps running smoothly every day of the week for everyone involved.
