Garuda Enterprises

Garuda Enterprises is located over in JP Nagar, Hampi. The address is 8-1-24. Hampi is a place people usually visit for the ruins, but we are just here doing our daily business. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main tourist areas. We handle various bits and pieces, mostly supplies that local people need for their own work. The building is simple and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us. There’s a bit of a porch out front where we sit sometimes when it’s not too hot. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and some old filing cabinets. We don’t have a computer system that’s very advanced, so a lot of things are still written down in ledgers. It works for us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is just part of living here. We just wait it out or work by the light from the door. It’s not a big corporate operation. It’s just us running things day to day. We get a few phone calls, some people dropping by to ask about prices, and the occasional delivery truck. The road outside isn't paved perfectly, so it gets a bit muddy when it rains. We spend time sweeping the floor and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a steady life and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood.
