RD HYDROTHRUST

RD HYDROTHRUST is based in Udyambag, which is the main industrial heart of Belgaum. It is a place where you can hear the sound of hammers and presses from every corner. Our shop is focused on hydraulics and thrust systems, which means we deal with a lot of heavy metal and high-pressure equipment. It is not the cleanest work in the world. Our hands are usually stained with dark hydraulic fluid and we spend a lot of time on the floor looking at valves and seals. The weather in Belgaum is usually nice, but inside the shed, it can get quite stuffy when we are working on a big project. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s just us and the machines. Most of the people who come to us are from other factories in Udyambag who need a cylinder repaired or a new pump fitted. We know how much it hurts a business when a machine is down, so we try to get things sorted as fast as we can without cutting corners. Sometimes a part has to be ordered from far away and that takes time, but we keep our customers informed. We aren't interested in being famous or having a big website. We just want to keep doing good engineering work that lasts a long time and helps the local businesses keep their machines running smoothly every single day.
