We’ve been here at House No 843 for a while now. It’s right on the Acharya Galli Main Road in Shahapur. Most people around here know the Balaji Devastan, and we are just near that. It gets pretty busy on this street during the day. Sometimes the traffic is a bit much but it’s just how life is in Belgaum. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. The building itself is an old spot, but it works for us. My name is Pankaj and I’m usually around along with a few others. We don’t have fancy signs or anything like that. People just walk in when they need something or if they have questions. It’s a local place. Sometimes it’s hot in the afternoons so we keep the fans going. You can hear the sounds from the main road all day long. It's nothing special but it’s where we do our work. We know the neighbors and they know us. The 590003 pin code is our area. Being near the temple means there is always some activity happening outside. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks. It’s not a big corporate office, just a small place in a busy part of town. We’ve seen the road change over the years but our spot remains the same. It’s easy to find us if you are walking down from the main junction.
