Karthik Infotech

You can find Karthik Infotech down in Ramalinkhind Galli, inside the Shiv Sadan building. It’s at 1b if you’re looking for the door. It’s a narrow street, typical for this part of town, and it can get a bit crowded during the middle of the day. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while, dealing with all things related to computers and tech. It isn't a huge place, just a couple of rooms filled with boxes, monitors, and various cables tangling up in the corners. We spend most of our time at the workbenches, looking into motherboards or trying to recover files for someone who had a hard drive crash. People from the nearby houses and shops know us by name. We don't really do much advertising because the street is so tight that everyone talks to each other anyway. If a computer starts acting up, people just walk it over. We deal with a lot of software issues too, like when things won't load or a virus gets into a system. It’s often dusty work, especially in the summer months when the wind blows down the galli. We don't have a fancy lobby or coffee machine for guests. There’s just a bench to sit on while we talk about what’s wrong with your machine. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what’s probably seen its last day. Working in this galli has its challenges, but it's where we started and where we'll stay.
