Masud Bricks

We are tucked away at 27, Shri Krishna Waveving Mill Compound in Venguaral. Masud Bricks is our name, and we share this space with the old mill. The 'Waveving' mill name has been there forever, even if the spelling is a bit odd to look at. The whole compound has a bit of an old feel to it, with heavy machinery and a lot of history. Working in an industrial compound like this means there’s always something going on. The bricks we make are heavy, and moving them around the yard takes a lot out of you. We don’t have a polished storefront or anything. Our office is just a small room with a fan that barely works in the summer. We deal with the local contractors who know the way into the compound. It’s easy to get lost if you don’t know where number 27 is. We don’t use any marketing tricks to get people in. Our work speaks for itself when people see the stacks. It’s a lot of manual sorting and checking for cracks. Some days the humidity in Venguaral is so thick you can almost feel it on your skin. We just keep our heads down and get the orders filled. It’s not a complicated business, but it requires a lot of sweat and patience. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we know every corner of the yard.
