Madhu Pharma

So, Madhu Pharma is located right on Maruti Galli. We are quite close to Cosmos Bank, so that’s a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. Maruti Galli is one of those streets that always seems to be busy no matter what time it is. We’ve got a small front area and a lot of storage in the back that stays pretty cool even in the middle of the summer. I’ve been coming here every morning at eight for years. The first thing I do is sweep the front because the street gets so much dirt. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or anything. Just a counter, some shelves, and a lot of ledgers. I still prefer writing things down in a book rather than typing everything into a computer, though we have one of those too now for the official stuff. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big delivery, and we have to move boxes around like a puzzle. The neighbors are good people; we all look out for each other on this block. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that the delivery vans can't even get close, and we have to carry things in by hand. It’s a bit of a workout. We don't really have a big story to tell. We just open up, do the work, and go home to our families in the evening. It’s just how we live.
