Aventis Pharma Ltd has a branch here in Belgaum, located at H34 on Subhash Main Road in Gandhi Nagar. It’s a pretty straightforward place to find if you’re driving through this part of Karnataka. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It’s a simple two-story structure and we use the ground floor for most of our work. The road outside can get quite dusty, especially when the trucks go by, but inside it’s mostly quiet. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and an old ceiling fan that squeaks a bit when it’s on the highest setting. We don’t have a big team here, just a few local folks who know the pharma business and the local area. We usually start our day early to get the paperwork done before the afternoon heat kicks in. There isn't much in the way of decoration on the walls, maybe just a calendar and some old notes taped up. We don’t see the point in spending money on fancy things when the current setup works just fine for what we do. People around Gandhi Nagar know us as the quiet office on Subhash Main Road. We don’t do much advertising; we just stick to our routine and handle the shipments as they come and go. It’s a decent place to work, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street outside our window. We try to keep things organized despite the limited space we have.
