You can find us at No. 3368 on Rls College Road. We are right there in Belgaum, very close to the Pavan Hotel. The shop is usually full of flowers, so it smells quite nice compared to the busy street outside. We get our stock early in the morning when the trucks arrive from the market. It can be a bit chaotic with petals and leaves all over the floor, but that’s the nature of the work. We spend our days cutting stems and tying bouquets or making long garlands for stages. My family helps out at the shop. We don’t have a lot of space inside, but we make it work. Most of our time is spent at wedding halls or temples doing the actual decorations. It’s a lot of standing and reaching up high to fix flowers on frames. We’ve been on College Road for a while, and the students from the college often pass by our door. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of rose, and we have to scramble to find more. It’s not always perfect, but we try our best. We aren't some high-end boutique; we are just a local flower shop doing decor. People know us by our location near the hotel. We just like working with our hands and seeing the final look of a decorated hall. It’s a lot of cleaning up at the end.
