Shri Swami Samarth Rice Mill

Shri Swami Samarth Rice Mill sits at 90-15 on Bazar Peth Road in the town of Nandgad. It is an old-school kind of place that has been around for a while. We have been processing rice here for many years, and the daily routine has not changed much at all. The machines have their own specific rhythm, and you can hear them running from way down the street. Farmers bring their harvest to us, and we help get it ready to be sold at the market. It is a very dusty job, and by the end of the day, almost everything is covered in a fine layer of rice husk. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for a very long time. Nandgad is usually a quiet place, but Bazar Peth Road gets its fair share of activity during the day. We do not have a website or any kind of marketing department. We just open the doors early in the morning and start up the engines. Sometimes people stop by just to chat for a bit while they are waiting for their grain to be finished. We even have a small bench sitting outside for that. It is mostly about being a part of the town and doing a job that needs doing. The work is physical and tiring, but seeing the clean rice fill the sacks is good. We just keep going.
