Shetti Food & Bevareges

Shetti Food & Bevareges is located in Village Bellad Bagewadi, right in the Hukkeri Taluka. We are positioned pretty close to National Highway No. 63, so we get a lot of the dust and noise from the big trucks passing by all day. Our building is a simple structure that serves as both a kitchen area and a storage space. It’s often quite hot inside because of the cooking and the local climate. We focus on getting food and drinks ready for the local shops and the people traveling along the highway. There is always a lot of chopping, mixing, and packing going on. We don't have a professional cleaning crew or a designer interior. We just keep our workspace clean enough to do the job right. The staff here are mostly locals who walk or ride their bikes to work. We talk about the crops and the weather while we work on the orders. Sometimes the supply of ingredients is late because of a holdup on the highway, and we just have to adjust our plans. It’s a very hands-on business where the owners are right there on the floor with everyone else. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall; we just have a list of what needs to be cooked or bottled for the day. It’s a quiet life in the village but the work keeps us moving from morning till night.
