Renuka College

We've been here in Kokatnur for a while now. Renuka College is just a place where students from around the Belgaum area come to get their degrees. It’s not a big fancy campus with glass buildings or anything like that, but it works for the people who live around here. We have classrooms and teachers who show up every single day. Most of the kids come from farming families in the 591230 area. They usually take the bus or walk from the nearby villages. We try to keep things simple and avoid all the noise. The office handles the paperwork, and we have a small library where students sit when they have a gap between their classes. It gets quite hot in the afternoons during the summer, so everyone looks for shade under the big trees in the yard. People know us as the local spot for higher education without having to travel all the way to the big city for every little thing. We deal with the usual stuff like exams and attendance. It’s a quiet life here in Karnataka. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we manage with what we have. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just helping the local youth get their certificates so they can find work or move on to something else. If you stop by, you'll see a lot of bicycles and scooters parked outside. The gates stay open during the day for anyone. It’s a basic setup.
