Gss College

Gss College has been around on the Rpd College Campus for quite a while now. If you walk down Tilakwadi, you can’t really miss the place since it’s right on the main Rpd College Road. It’s a busy area in Belgaum with students always coming and going. The buildings are older, but they’ve got a lot of history to them. We spend most of our mornings opening up the classrooms and making sure the benches are straight. It's a regular college life here, nothing too fancy. Students hang out in the corridors between lectures or head over to the nearby shops for a quick snack. The campus is shared with other departments, so it feels like a small town sometimes. We have people from all over Karnataka coming here to study. In the rainy season, the trees around the campus get really green, but it also means we have to deal with some mud on the paths. We just try to keep the place running smoothly every day. There’s a library where it’s actually quiet, which is a nice change from the noise out on the road. Usually, the office gets busy during admission time, and that’s when things feel a bit chaotic. Otherwise, it’s just the usual routine of bells ringing and teachers heading to their classes. You'll often see the faculty walking across the campus with stacks of papers. There’s a small canteen where everyone goes for tea. It's not a place with shiny new equipment, but the basics are all there. We keep the gates open for students.
