Our workshop is at number 6 in the Shivakiran Dall Industrial Area. It’s a small spot among many other industrial units that all look pretty much the same. The road outside is usually blocked with trucks or tempos loading and unloading stuff at all hours. We’ve been here for a while now. Lcp is just a small outfit. We do what we can with the equipment we have on the floor. The space is a bit cramped because we keep everything we need right here in one spot. It’s a lot of metal and noise during the work day. We don't have many visitors coming by, mostly just the guys we work with or people dropping off raw materials. The walls could really use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with orders to worry about that kind of thing. We have a couple of old desks in the corner where we handle the bills and the phone calls. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three different things are happening at once. We just handle it as it comes. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day. It’s a rough and ready kind of place. We don’t try to act like we’re some big corporation with a fancy lobby. We’re just a local unit trying to do our job right. Most of our tools have been with us for years and we know all their quirks. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our work and we take it seriously.
