I have been working out of the Pawar Building in Shahapur for quite some time now. If you are familiar with the Belgaum area, you probably know the spot. We are located right on the first floor, which isn't too many stairs to climb daily. It’s right above the Bank of India, so that makes it a lot easier for people to find us when they are coming by for the first time. Being near Shivaji Garden is nice too because there is a bit of greenery around the neighborhood, even if it gets busy with traffic during the peak hours. The 590003 pin code area is usually humming with activity. Sometimes the noise from the street comes up, but you get used to it after a while. I usually get in early before the heat starts to pick up. The building itself is an older one, but it serves us well enough for what we do. People often ask for directions and I just tell them to look for the bank or the garden. It is a straightforward walk once you are in Shahapur. Most of our day is spent here at the desk, looking out or dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy, just a desk and chairs and the usual office things you would expect to see in a place like this.
