Poppoeyes Cafe

Poppoeyes Cafe sits right on the second plot at Santeri Building. If you know Congress Road in Tilakwadi, you probably know where the More supermarket is. We are right above that. It is a handy spot because there is always something happening around here. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you are tired, but once you are up here, it is a nice break from the street noise below. We have been in this building for some time now. It is not a giant space, but we have made it work for what we need. The windows look out over the road, which is great for people-watching while we work. Most of our regulars are folks who live nearby or work in the local shops. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a cafe where you can sit down and get away from the heat for a bit. The floor has a few scuffs and the chairs have been around, but they are comfortable. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the lunch rush. It gets pretty frantic around one or two o'clock. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing team. It is just a couple of us behind the counter trying to get the orders right. It is a decent place to spend the day. We’ve had some leaky pipes in the past and the signage is a bit faded, but that doesn’t stop the coffee from tasting good.
