You can find us at 16A, Dodda Oni, in the Degaon area of Bailhongal. We took our name from the local history because it means something to the people around here. We are just a group of farmers who decided to stop working in silos. The office is not much to look at, just a simple room where we keep our ledgers and bags of samples. We spend most of our time out in the dirt, dealing with the actual crops. When we get together, it is usually to talk about how we can get a fair deal for what we grow. Life in the village is slow but the work is constant. We do not have any corporate training or fancy degrees. We just know how to grow things and how to fix a tractor when it breaks. Sometimes we disagree on how to run things, but we always figure it out because we are neighbors first. It is important for us to keep the land healthy for the kids who will take it over one day. We deal with the weather and the pests as they come. Being a part of this company makes the heavy lifting a little easier to manage. We are just trying to make a decent living from the soil we have always known. It is not always easy but there is a certain pride in it.
