Hermes Spirits Private Limited

If you are heading out on the Ankli-Raibag Road, you’ll find us over at Post Yadrav. It is a bit of a drive out here, but it works for what we do at Hermes Spirits Private Limited. The area is mostly open space which is nice compared to the crowded city centers. We deal with spirits, so there is a lot of logistics involved with barrels and bottles. The warehouse is big and stays relatively cool because of the way it was built. We spend a lot of time moving things around with the forklift. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up because we'd rather be on the floor seeing what is happening with the production. It’s a small team here. Most of the guys have been with us since we opened. We eat lunch together in the small break room. The road outside gets a lot of trucks, so it can be dusty in the summer. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the gate. It’s practical work. You have to be careful with the glass and the liquids, so we don't rush things too much. Errors happen, like a label getting stuck or a pallet leaning, but we just fix it and move on. It is not glamorous, but it is a living. The sun sets right over the fields behind the building and that’s probably the best part of the day. We just stay focused on getting the crates loaded and the floors swept.
