Raj Traders

We are based in Ward Number 4 of Sihama village. The shop is in a brick building that we have used for many years. It is located near the local Khudawan police station and the Sihama post office. We trade in various goods that the villagers need, mostly basic supplies and household items. The inside of the shop is simple with wooden counters and shelves that we built ourselves. We don't have any fancy computers, so we do all our math on paper and keep everything in hand-written books. The village is usually quiet, but it can get busy on market days. There is a big tree outside where people sometimes stand to get out of the sun. We are a family business, so you will usually see one of us or our relatives working here throughout the day. The road out front is quite narrow and can get muddy when the rains come. We don't spend money on advertising because everyone in Sihama already knows where we are. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked with what people ask for. It is a slow-paced kind of work, but we like being part of the village life. Sometimes we share a tea with the postman when he passes by. Most of our days are spent chatting with customers and making sure the shop stays in order.
