M. M. Rahmani B.Ed. College is situated on Plot No 4 in the Damodarpur area of Begusarai. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it's a quiet spot which is good for people who are trying to study and become teachers. The college is essentially one large building on a decent-sized plot of land. We spend our days training young men and women who want to work in schools across Bihar. The classrooms are large and usually filled with students discussing lesson plans or going over their textbooks. Since it's a B.Ed. college, the people here are older and more serious about their work. Begusarai can be a bit dusty, and our location in Damodarpur is no exception. We have a small office where all the registrations and paperwork happen, and it always seems to be full of files. There isn't a lot of decorative stuff on the walls; it’s mostly just schedules and notices about exams. The students often sit outside during their breaks when the weather is nice. We have a routine that we stick to every day, starting early in the morning. It’s a very functional place. We aren't trying to be a fancy university, just a solid college where people can get their teaching credentials. Most of our students live nearby or rent rooms in the village so they can walk to their classes every day. We just focus on the basics.
