Our business is set up in Murshadpur, over in the Ashti taluka of Beed. We run things from Kishor Benshehar Haimbar’s place. It’s a mix of dairy and regular farming, so there is never a quiet moment around here. The cows need milking early in the morning, and the fields need tending right after that. It’s a lot of physical work, and our hands are rarely clean. We aren’t some big industrial dairy with miles of pipes and stainless steel. We’re a smaller operation that stays close to the traditional ways of doing things in this part of Beed. We care about the animals and the land because they are what keep us going. Some days the milk production is high, and other days we struggle with the feed or the water. We just take it as it comes. We aren’t interested in using corporate jargon or making ourselves sound bigger than we are. We’re just local people from Murshadpur who know a lot about cattle and crops. People from around Ashti know they can find us here, just doing the daily chores. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep moving forward, one day and one gallon of milk at a time. It’s about the routine and the community we’ve built here over the years with our neighbors.
