Mahesha Feeds Private Limited is located over on Takalgaon Road in Georai. We are specifically at House Number 1583, right where Somani Oil Mills is. The Beed district is a big place for agriculture, so being based here makes a lot of sense for an animal feed business. When you walk around the site, you can smell the grain and the leftover parts from the oil mill. It’s a working industrial area, so it’s not particularly quiet or a very clean place to be. There are trucks coming in and out all day long, bringing in raw materials or picking up bags of finished feed to take to the farms. We spend most of our time dealing with the machinery and making sure the mixes are right for the cattle and other animals. Takalgaon Road is often busy with tractors and local transport trucks. We don't have a big corporate headquarters; our office is just a small room in the mill complex. It’s often covered in a thin layer of dust from the grain, but that’s just how it is here in this line of work. We talk to the farmers who come by and they tell us how their animals are doing on the feed we make. We’ve been in Georai for a while now and we know the local rhythm of the seasons. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot, but providing feed for the local livestock is a job we do every day.
