Zenith Computer

The shop is right near the Sawla Ram Temple here in Parli. Most days it’s just me and a couple of guys working on old laptops or trying to fix a motherboard that someone spilled tea on. We started Zenith Computer a while back because there weren't many places nearby to get parts without traveling far. The Ganesh Par area gets pretty crowded during festivals, but we’re usually tucked away inside dealing with software updates or tangled wires. It isn't a fancy place with glass windows and air conditioning that works all the time. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We handle whatever comes through the door, whether it's a student needing a printout or a farmer looking for a new mouse for his kid's PC. The floor is usually covered in cardboard boxes from recent shipments and there is always a faint smell of burnt solder in the air. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people just find us because they live in the neighborhood or they saw the sign while walking to the temple. It gets dusty, especially in the summer, so we spend a lot of time wiping down monitors. We just try to keep things running for folks around here. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when a repair is tricky, but it’s what we do every day.
