Mahaveer Traders

We are located over in the Maharajganj Industries area, right in Anand Nagar Farenda. Being near the Dak Bangla makes it pretty easy for our suppliers to find the gate of Mahaveer Traders. This is a trading business, so our days are mostly spent on the phone or checking the stock in the warehouse. We deal in all sorts of goods that come through this region. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place to keep the grain dry and safe. My father started this trade many years ago, and I just took over the daily operations from him. It’s a lot of paperwork and keeping track of shifting prices, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. The warehouse gets quite hot in the summer months, so we usually have the big fans running all day long. We have a small crew of guys who help with the loading and unloading. They've been with us for years and know exactly where everything needs to go. Fancy slogans or big marketing plans are not our style. In this business, your reputation among other traders is what really matters. If you say you’ll have the stock ready, you have to follow through. The road outside can get a bit congested with trucks, but that’s just how industrial areas are. We have tea from the same stall every afternoon. It’s a routine that keeps us grounded while we handle the work and the cargo.
