Gayatri Fly Ash Bricks & Blocks

Gayatri Fly Ash Bricks & Blocks is out in Village-Sahrayen, right near the NH-28. If you are driving through Harraiya, you’ve probably seen our yard. We moved here because it’s easy for the trucks to get on and off the highway. Making fly ash bricks is a bit different from the old red ones. It takes a lot of mixing and pressing. Most days the machines are humming away and it’s pretty loud. We’ve got a small crew from the village and Sangrampur. Everyone knows their job. Some days are slow, especially when the weather isn’t cooperating or the electricity goes out for a few hours. That happens more than we'd like. We don’t spend much time sitting in an office. Most of the paperwork gets done on a wooden desk that’s seen better days. We mostly focus on getting the blocks stacked right so they don’t crack while they sit. It’s not the most exciting business, but it keeps us busy. People around here need building materials for their houses and shops, so we stay open through the week. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the blocks we send out are solid enough to build with. If you stop by, someone is usually around to help, unless we're all busy loading a trailer in the back. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to earn a living day by day.
