Angel The School

Angel The School is over in Menhdawal, in the Sant Kabir Nagar district. We are at Ats Ic, 1. It is a local place for kids in this part of Uttar Pradesh. The school is basically a collection of rooms where we try to get some learning done every day. It's not a grand place, just a functional one. The mornings are always a bit chaotic with the kids arriving and the teachers trying to get everyone into their lines for assembly. We have been here for a bit and the building shows its age in some spots, but it's a good place to be. We deal with the usual school problems like loud hallways and empty ink pens. Menhdawal is a small town, so the school is a big part of the daily life for many people here. During the summer, it gets very hot, so we make sure the fans are working as best as they can. The kids play out in the open area when they get the chance. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just us, the staff, and the local families. We focus on the books and the lessons. It's a simple, honest school where things happen one day at a time. Everyone knows where the gate is and who the teachers are. It’s just how life is in Sant Kabir Nagar, and we are fine with that.
