Computer Galaxy

Computer Galaxy is located in Hatuganj, specifically on DH Road. We are right near the Homeo Clinic, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us in Diamond Harbour. The shop isn't as big as the name suggests, but we have enough room for a couple of desks and a lot of spare parts. Kolkata weather is quite humid, so we see many computers with rusted components or motherboards that just gave up. We spend our mornings opening up CPU cabinets and blowing out the dust. It’s a quiet enough area until the traffic on DH Road picks up. We get people coming in from all over the Diamond Harbour area. Some need a simple windows install and others have laptops that won't show anything on the screen. We have wires hanging in a few places and stacks of old monitors in the corner that we use for testing. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty with thermal paste and solder. We talk to the neighbors and the people coming from the clinic next door. Most of the time, we are just sitting under the ceiling fan trying to figure out why a certain phone won't pick up the signal. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning till the evening. We don't have much to say about ourselves, we just work and try to keep things running for everyone.
