New Enterprise

New Enterprise is situated on Feeder Road in the Ariadaha area of Kolkata. It is a simple place where we deal with various supplies that people in this part of the city need. I wouldn’t call it a big company or anything like that. It is just me and a couple of others working out of this space. The road outside is always busy with rickshaws and buses, so there is a lot of noise throughout the day. We spend a lot of time organizing the inventory and talking to the people who come in asking for specific parts or materials. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the daily work to worry about that. It is a practical business. We don't have any slogans or fancy uniforms. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during the quiet hours in the afternoon when the sun is too hot. Dealing with suppliers in Kolkata can be a headache with the traffic and the delays, but we manage to keep things going. We have been here for a while and most of the neighbors know what we do. It is just regular work, nothing special. We try to be helpful when someone is looking for something hard to find, even if we don't always have it in stock. That is just how things go around here on Feeder Road every single day. We just open up and get to work.
