Tagore Public Secondary School

We are located in Balotra, specifically on Jerala Road in Maheshwari Colony. People usually find us by looking for the MLA Madan Prajapat's residence since we are right near there. It’s a busy corner of the Barmer district. The school has been here for a while, serving the families in the local neighborhood. We have a secondary school setup, so we handle kids of various ages. The classrooms are filled with wooden benches and desks that have seen a lot of use. During the summer, the Barmer heat is something we all have to deal with, so the fans are always going. We don't have much of a fancy campus, just the essential rooms and a space for the students to gather. You can hear the traffic from Jerala Road throughout the day, but it’s just part of the background noise. Our teachers come in early to set up their chalk and planners. It’s a very hands-on environment. Parents often stop by the gate to drop off lunch boxes they forgot. We spend our time making sure the students learn their lessons and stay out of trouble. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open the gates every morning and do our jobs here in Balotra until the final bell rings in the afternoon. It is just a regular place for regular students to get through their school years.
