Keshav Adarsh Vidhya Mandir Sec School Samdrai

We are Keshav Adarsh Vidhya Mandir Sec School Samdrai. Our school is located in Purohito Ka Bas Samdrai, in the Barmer district, pin code 344021. We even have a little blogspot site if people want to look at some old photos or updates, though we don't post there as much as we should. Being in Samdari means we are in a more rural area. Life here is a bit slower than in the big cities. The school is a central part of the community in Purohito Ka Bas. We have students coming from all around the Barmer area. The building is simple and practical. We don't have fancy air conditioning, so we rely on fans and open windows. Sometimes the dust from the desert gets in, but we just clean it up. We focus on the basic subjects and making sure the kids understand their lessons. The teachers here are mostly locals who care about the village. We have a small staff and we all have to do multiple jobs. One minute I might be talking to a parent and the next I’m helping fix a desk. It’s just how it goes here. We don’t have any big corporate plans. We just want to keep the doors open and the classes running every year. It’s a quiet life in Samdari, and we are just glad to be part of it. The kids play out in the dirt yard. We just keep doing what we’ve always done for the community.
