Manglam Marbles

Manglam Marbles is situated at Plot No.E-15 in the Industrial Area of Balotra. If you know Balotra, you know it gets incredibly hot and the industrial area is always buzzing with some kind of activity. Our plot is basically just a big open space where we keep the marble blocks and slabs. It’s a very practical environment, no air conditioning or fancy desks here. We spend our days outside or under a simple tin roof. The ground is usually covered in stone scrap and water from the cutters. We’ve been operating out of this industrial zone for quite a bit. It’s a tough place to work because of the heat, but you get used to it after a few years. We have a couple of guys who help with the loading because those marble pieces are no joke to move. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. Most people find us because they’re already in the area for other business. We just talk to folks plainly and show them what’s in stock. Sometimes the stone comes in from far away and we have to spend the whole day unloading the trucks. It’s a lot of physical labor and sweating. At the end of the day, we just lock up the gate and head home. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to sell some marble and keep the business going in Balotra. We just do what needs doing every single day.
