Sana Hair Salon

Sana Hair Salon is inside the Jauhari Building on Gulab Nagar Road. If you are in the Koharapeer area of Bareilly, you probably know where that is. We are quite close to the Alka Hotel, which is a good landmark for people who aren't from around here. The 243003 zip code is our home. The shop has a specific feel to it, a bit worn in but comfortable for the people who come here. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming since they were kids. Now they bring their own children in. The Jauhari Building is an older structure, so the rooms have high ceilings and it stays relatively cool even when it's hot outside. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or big posters. People just know where we are. The road outside, Gulab Nagar Road, can get pretty narrow and crowded, especially in the afternoons. Inside, though, it’s just the sound of the clippers and maybe a small TV in the corner if there's a match on. We take care of everyone who walks through the door, whether they want a full haircut or just a shave. Bareilly is a big city but this corner of Koharapeer feels like a small village sometimes because everyone knows everyone else's business. We just keep our hands busy and the shop open until the sun goes down. There isn't much to it, just keeping the floors clean and the customers happy with their look.
