Hotel The Grand New Delhi

This might seem a bit odd, but even though the name says New Delhi, we are actually located at H-14 Ambica Avas on Karam Chari Nagar Road. That is over in Bareilly, with the pin code 243122. We handle things from here. It is a bit of a distance from the actual city of Delhi, but this is where the office is set up. The building is on a regular road and it’s a pretty straightforward place. We deal with the administrative side of the hotel stuff. There is a lot of back and forth on the phones and email. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside on Karam Chari Nagar Road. We aren't in a big glass building. It’s more of a practical setup for the staff to work in. We have a few rooms and some old filing systems that we still use alongside the computers. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we have to wait for the generator. That’s just how it is here. We try to keep things moving so the hotel operations don't stop. Most of us live right here in Bareilly and commute in every morning. It’s a long day of checking numbers and talking to guests or suppliers. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just show up, do the work, and go home. It’s a real business run by real people who just want to do a decent job.
