Civil & Military Hotel

You can find us on Station Road, right where all the noise from the trains and the buses happens. Being in this part of town means there is never a quiet moment, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Our name, Civil & Military Hotel, is a bit old-fashioned, but it reflects how long we have been around this area. People coming off the trains usually stop by because we are so close to the station. The road outside is always dusty and full of rickshaws, but once you step inside, it feels a bit different. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights, just the old building that has seen a lot of travelers come and go. The staff here has been with us for a long time, so they know the regulars by name. We serve simple meals and have rooms for people who need a place to stay before their next journey. It is a practical place, really. We don't try to be something we are not. If you are looking for luxury, this probably isn't it, but if you want a spot that is easy to get to from the railway, we are right here. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets flooded when it rains hard, but we just keep the doors open and do what we can to help people out.
