Sahanshakti Farmer Producer Company

Sahanshakti Farmer Producer Company is based out in the village of Simli Harsoli, which is part of the Baran district. We operate out of Jamna Lal Meena’s place. Being based in a village like Simli Harsoli means we are right there where the farming happens every day. We can see the fields from the front door. It is a very quiet life out here most of the time, though it gets quite noisy when the tractors are moving around during the peak seasons. Our company is all about the local producers in the Baran area. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or glass walls. We just have a room with some chairs where the farmers can come and sit for a bit while we talk about the seeds or the latest market rates. It is a very basic way of doing things, but it is honest and it works for us. We don't spend any time on things like marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We are just a group of people from the village trying to make the agricultural process a little smoother for our neighbors. Some days the internet does not work, and we just have to do everything by hand in our registers. It is just the way it goes when you are working in a rural spot like this.
