King George Inter College

King George Inter College is situated on Rajkamal Cinema Hall Road in the Peerbatawan area. Even though the address says Pune, Maharashtra 225001, we are right there by the old cinema which everyone in the neighborhood uses as a landmark. The street is always full of people, especially when a movie is playing or when the market is open. Our building is an older one, with thick walls and high ceilings that help a bit with the heat. The noise from the traffic on the road is constant, but the students don't seem to mind it much. We have a lot of stairs and narrow hallways that get very crowded when the classes end. The staff mostly sits in the main office where we keep all the old ledgers and student files. It is a very busy place to work. Sometimes the smell of street food from the vendors outside drifts into the classrooms. We have a small courtyard where some of the kids stand during their lunch break. Life here is fast-paced because of the location. We are right in the middle of everything. It is a practical school for local families who have been living in this part of town for generations. We don't have fancy landscaping, just the concrete and the daily routine of bells and lessons. It is a bit worn down in places, but it serves its purpose for the community here.
