Girish Chandra Acharya

I’m Girish Chandra Acharya and my place is right in the Rati Talai Main Bazar. Being in the main bazar means there’s never a dull moment around here. There are vendors and shoppers everywhere from dawn till dusk. My workspace is tucked away in the middle of all that activity. I’ve been here for years, so I’ve seen the market change a lot over time. It’s a small space, but it’s enough for me to do what I need to do. I don't have a big staff or a fancy office setup at all. It's just a simple room with my things in it. People in Rati Talai know where to find me if they need something. I spend my time dealing with the daily tasks that come with being in the bazar. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped with all the people passing by so close to the door. I just keep my door open and get on with it. It’s a very local way of doing business, I guess. I don’t use any marketing tricks or anything like that. I just show up every day and do the work. The bazar has its own rhythm and I’ve become a part of it over the years. When the market starts to close up for the night, I finish my last few bits of work and head home. It’s a steady life and I like being in the heart of the town. There is always someone to talk to.
