Pan Consultancy

We run Pan Consultancy out of a small place in the village and post office of Khichka, over in the Bankura district of West Bengal, 722151. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here if you aren't from the area, but we like the quiet. Our office is pretty simple, just what we need to get the job done. We spend most of our time talking to people and trying to help them figure out whatever problems they’ve brought to us. In a place like Khichka, word of mouth is how most people hear about us. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. Usually, the morning starts with a bit of cleaning up and getting the registers ready. The power goes out sometimes, so we keep some candles and a torch handy just in case. It’s a different pace of life here compared to the big cities, but that doesn't mean we aren't busy. There is always someone dropping by with a question or some papers that need looking at. We take our time to make sure we’re doing things right. We aren't part of some giant chain, it's just a local operation here in West Bengal. When the sun starts to go down, we finish up our notes, close the windows, and head home. It’s honest work and it keeps us connected to the people living around here in the village.
