Luminous

Our place is located in the Bankura district of West Bengal, with the pincode 722202. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city areas, which we actually prefer because it’s a lot more grounded here. Things move a bit slower in this part of the world compared to places like Kolkata. We’ve set up our Luminous operations here to handle the local needs. It’s a straightforward shop and workspace. We don’t have any of those shiny posters or expensive furniture you see in corporate offices. Most of the space is taken up by the equipment and whatever we are working on that week. The weather can be quite humid, especially during the monsoon months, which makes the work a bit slower, but we manage. We’ve got a few local guys who help out with the daily tasks. We spend most of our time just making sure the inventory is right and talking to people who come in looking for help with their setups. It’s a very local business feel. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. We aren't trying to do anything grand, just trying to provide what people need around the district. Sometimes the power goes out, which is ironic given what we do, but we just wait it out and get back to it when things are running again. It’s just regular life in Bankura for us.
