Dast-R Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Mahaliapara village. If you’re looking for us, we’re at Dilip Deka’s place, which is under the Burhinagar post office. We are a small group of local growers who decided that working together was the only way forward. In a place like this, everyone knows everyone, so it made sense to turn our neighborly chats into a real producer company. We handle all sorts of agricultural stuff, mostly whatever the season brings us. It’s a hands-on job. You won’t find many of us sitting behind a desk for long. We’re usually out checking the crops or figuring out how to get things to market. Dilip’s place serves as our main hub where we store some supplies and meet to make decisions. It’s not a fancy setup, just a room with some chairs and a lot of talk about rain and soil quality. We try to help the smaller farmers in the village get a better deal than they would on their own. It’s a lot of trial and error, honestly. Some things work and some don't. We just keep trying new ways to make the farming life a bit more stable for everyone involved.
