Bankura Krishi Kranti Agro Producer Company Limited is located in a quiet village called Kasaebedia, which is under the Barachingra post office. If you ever find yourself in the Bankura district, you might pass by our plot, which is number 451. We are deep in the heart of the farming area here. The whole idea behind this company is to work with the land and the local farmers. We call it a "Krishi Kranti" because it feels like a bit of a revolution for us, even if it is just on a very local scale. The work is hard and it depends a lot on the seasons and the rain. We aren't some big corporation with suits; we are mostly people who understand the soil and the crops. Bankura can be very hot in the summer, and that makes the work even tougher, but we have lived here all our lives so we are used to it. The village of Kasaebedia is where our roots are.
