Down at Ramamurthy Nagar 34, we keep things moving at Partishtha Traders. It’s a busy spot, especially when deliveries are arriving. We spend a lot of our time checking boxes and making sure everything that comes in matches what we ordered. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things and moving them around the space we have here. The shop isn't huge, so we have to stay organized. Most days start before the sun is really up so we can get a head start on the orders. People from around the neighborhood stop by, and we usually know most of them by name. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that; it’s just the warehouse area and a small counter where we talk to people. Sometimes the phones ring non-stop, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually get some cleaning done. We deal with all sorts of items depending on what’s in demand. It’s practical work. You get your hands dirty and you stay on your feet. Being located in Ramamurthy Nagar means we see a lot of the same faces every week. We just try to keep the shelves stocked and the customers happy without making a big fuss about it. It’s a straightforward job and we like the pace of it. There is always a lot to do, but we just take it one box at a time until the day is done.
