We are located at Banashankari 47. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads where all the heavy traffic is. We started this business to handle various bits and pieces of trade, mostly focused on what the local builders need. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We don't have a big staff or a fancy corporate structure. The building is older and the paint is peeling a bit on the side, but it serves the purpose. We spend our days answering the phone and looking at our inventory lists. It’s not an exciting life, but it’s ours and it pays the bills. We handle different supplies depending on what people in the area are looking for at the time. Sometimes it’s bags of material, other times it’s just basic hardware for a home project. We don't really have a specialty, we just try to be useful to whoever comes through the door. The neighborhood knows us by now. We see the same faces every week, mostly local workers stopping by to pick things up. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. People just walk in because they know we are here. The front door squeaks a bit when it's humid, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We sit on the plastic chairs and drink coffee when things are slow in the afternoons. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. No one wears a suit.
