Pendra Marwahi Javik Krishi Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Bharridandmarwahi. We work out of Sukhsen Yadav’s place. It’s a very rural setup, exactly how you’d expect for a group focused on Javik or organic farming. We don't use the heavy chemicals that have become so common. Instead, we stick to the older ways that are better for the ground and the people. Sukhsen’s house is a regular meeting point for the farmers in our group. We sit around and talk about how the crops are coming along. It’s not a formal business meeting with a schedule. It’s more like neighbors helping neighbors. The roads around here can be rough, especially when it rains, so getting things in and out takes some planning. We handle everything from getting organic seeds to finding people who want to buy clean, natural food. It’s a lot of manual labor and sometimes the results are unpredictable, but we prefer it this way. Marwahi is a beautiful area, and we want to keep the land healthy. There are no corporate bosses here, just us farmers trying to keep our traditions alive while making enough to support our families. We are proud of the dirt under our fingernails. It’s honest work, and we do it together as a community. Every bag of grain we produce has a lot of heart behind it. We've been doing this for a while and we're not planning to change.
